Obama Sends Troops to the Border
May 26, 2010 in Current by admin
The Washington Post is reporting that Obama will send 1,200 troops to the US/Mexican Border. He will, according to the report, ask for $500 Million more for border security. Our question to you: Is this too little too late, or just woefully insufficient?
What are the best ways to secure our borders, in light of mexican narco-terrorism?

Of course we need to secure the borders but in my opinion they could have done this alot cheeper and more efficient. Plus, they dont really have any authority at the border so its not like they are going to do much in terms of securing the border. What we need is to take away the incentive to come here illegally from other countries.
1. No Amnesty
2. Fine buisnesses for hiring illegals large sums of money.
3. Do not let them recieve any free social services.
4. Do not give citizenship to illegal aliens’ babies when they cross the border just to have said child.
A huge chunk of money goes to paying for them and the taxpayers are fed up with it. You could probabley run on just that platform and get a large number of people to back you.
Also to follow up. If an illegal alien has a direct relative in the armed forces, you could make them pay a fine and have them assimialate. That way you could say if your willing to give you life to this country we will be willing to work with a direct family member in assimilating them without deporting them.
we could just legalize illegal immigrate hunting in texas, let those rednecks just shoot them. or we could just treat them like black people.
Not!
boweasel.. Do you think we Texans actually hunt down illegals and shoot them? Do you even know what the definition of a redneck is ? Redneck is a joke term by some people, but Redneck means those that work in the sun….I guess this makes them stupid in your eyes? You are not here to help the GOP, you are here to agitate and insult others, arent you?
Way to little, way to late! Spit on a raging Forest Fire. A bandaid on a severed artery. But I couldn’t have put it better Kevin We must also get laws like AZ Nation wide and inforced.
1. secure our borders.that is the federal governments job,not taking over business.
2. cut off the free food.
3.no free education.
4.no free health care.
5.no free housing.
6.lock up all illegals and send them back to mexico,it will save americans a lot of money.
7.I like ariz. law.I think all states should have the same law.
8.being here illegal is breaking the law.
Kevins ideas seem reasonable. Just also need to secure our borders. The federal law needs to be enforced. No more sanctuary cities. All illegals need to earn citizenship in order to stay….basically follow the law.
The Defense department is getting somewhere around $700 Billion of the taxpayers money every year to “run” their operation to “defend” us. ( Prior to Bush, it was only $350 B) This amount does not even include the $150 Billion/year we are spending on the wars, now 9 years running.. For Obama to “ask” for another $500 million for “border security” is ridiculous! This is just another money grab from the politicians of our money. If the DOD did their job in “defending” our country, we wouldn’t have this problem. If they can’t defend the border in our own territory, than we are wasting our money supporting the Defense department. What happened to the $3.4 trillion that disappeared in 1999 & 2000 from the Pentagons budget under the comptroller, Dov Zakheim (dual Israeli/American)? Rumsfeld was investigating it when, coincidentally we had 9/11. The missle hit the accounting department. HMMM. Where is the accountability? The problem with our government leaders is they have for many years, been moving toward the agenda of World Government and they want to be the ones running it, backed by the corrupt private Federal Reserve. It’s time to reign in Washington and cut up their credit card, balance the budget, issue our own money at zero interest (like JFK ordered in his Executive Order 11110) cut military spending to ONLY our own borders, and we’ll save hundreds of billions every year that can be redirected to provide FREE health care for all citizens. The people will save tens of thousands in wasted insurance payments and have more money to save for their retirements.
All of the “wars” we have been fighting for the last several decades (war on drugs, war on poverty, etc,) are just excuses to suck up our money and divert it to the elites and their private corporations.
It’s time for the American people to WAKE UP to the theft of our nation! Vote out ALL politicians that resist changing the current system and want to tax us more. Less government is more money for us! See http://www.webofdebt.com for insight into the corruption of the financial system. This is where the corruption starts and must end. Only WE can create the country and government we want. Each one of us needs to make that effort to help make the shift. Let your voice be heard, and thanks for this website.
I think the best way to secure the border is to create a complete physical border that is patrolled by armed patrols. Then instead of reform we need enforcement. Over time we will remove the illegals that are here. I don’t care if they are “productive members” of our society. They are illegal. I welcome any and all who come here legally. Border security should also be two-way. All vehicles both entering and leaving should be physically inspected. Some would call this unreasonable. I think it is the only way to stop the flow of drugs, weapons, and human trafficing. Also, companies who hire illegal immigrants should be heavily fined and the illegals employed should be deported. Children born here of an illegal immigrant do not recieve citizenship, only a record of birth denoting their country of origin and then deported. Additionally sanctuary cities or communities should lose all federal funding until they can demonstrate they are compliant with our nations laws. Then and only then can we reform the way immigrants can legally enter our country.
There has never been a bigger federal government failure than the so-called “war on drugs” All we’ve accomplished with this effort is wasting tens of billions of taxpayer dollars, and flooding the coffers of Mexican drug cartels with billions and billions more.
How about we legalize (and tax) sales of pot, and take away the flood of money pouring into Mexico? *poof* No more “narco-terrorism”
And another thing… show some respect for the office of the President of the United States. Try “President Obama” instead of “‘Bama” You don’t have to like the man to respect the office.
I do respect the office. I didn’t vote for Mr. Obama, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt – until he started apologizing for America. I’m proud to be an American – I really think our president should also be proud of being an American – if he is.
The demand for illegal drugs in the U.S. has caused the narco-terrorism. The only way to secure our borders against drug smugglers is to treat the addicts who are buying from these criminals. Is this about immigration or the threats from drug smugglers? Those are 2 separate issues, but I’m commenting on the specific question asked.
How about looking at your “Addicts” more like what they are, those that refuse to accept the PROHIBITION part 2?
Would you REQUIRE treatment and incarceration for those that wished to have a beer? Please do the homework on the ignorance of this “war on drugs” and ask yourself which would you rather?
To allow your neighbor to relax in the evening with a bowl of cannabis, OR a beer, without a swat team kicking in the door, beating or shooting him, and locking up the remains, confiscating his propertay, and spending billions to do so.
The facts are facts, with over 50,000 deaths connected to alcohol, and ZERO to cannabis, and yet, we ADVERTISE alcoholic beverages and imprison users of pot.
As said before, legalize it and the battle on the border ends, just as it did with prohibition, by taking the profit out of the bootlegging. This crime was CREATED by the foolish law, and could be eliminated by repealing the law.
Also, LOCK UP THOSE THAT EMPLOY illegals and you eliminate the draw to the US for work. This will also end the illegal abuse of illegals by said employers, and the lowering of wages competing with illegals for jobs.
I think it is fine for a hard working imigrant to come here and work if that is all he wants to do. I operate a cotton gin in west texas and employ people from Mexico. I make sure that they are legal to work here. Its a big mess right now because of the coyotes and the bad guys who bring illegals in for money. The people that work for me have been for a long time and always return here for the gin season as seasonal workers. We used to have a brasero program many years ago that seemed to work pretty well. I think we could offer a similar program to people that want to come here and work. Check them out, if they are good people issue them a work ID, no charge. Do not give them a social security number, they do not need one. Pay them a decent wage and do not with hold taxes. They are gonna get a refund anyway. When the job is done they can go back home with their money until they want to come back for the next season with the same card. Do not let them on our welfare system. Many of these people come here and get spoiled to welfare and stop working. People come across the border to have a baby so they can get on welfare. Stop that! There are a lot of jobs in this country that locals will not do because it is to hard or cold or hot or meaneal. These guys do us a good service if they are the right kind of people. Instead of making it hard for them to come to work and causing them to do it illegally, give them a simple avenue of proving who they are, let them come work and go home when the job is done without being a drain on our economy.
This is the best way to deal with illegal immigrants. Let them in, let them use the roads. Why then would they go across private land. Offer work visa’s we do this for other immigrants. When they are caught with out a work visa or doing something illegal jail them. Every stable country in the world has this same problem. All people want their children to have a better life. When they are allowed to work they will be raise their families and pay taxes. Right now they are still coming in and sending their children to our schools, and using our hospitals and not paying for any of their basic needs. Why are we not looking at these people as God’s people? When we give people a chance to do the right thing they will. We need to accept the hard workers into our country. We need to deal with the drug runners, and criminals just like we always do catch them, they are getting in anyway do you really think we are keeping them out? No the only people we are keeping out are the honest people who would have a job and better their selves and the community. Let’s stop the war at our borders.
Ruth
We aren’t talking about the legals or want to be legals. They can apply for work permits (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) not just citizenship. But do you realize there are millions of them. Living off of our tax dollars etc. Ruth I can’t agree with you. I’m sorry.
Also we don’t need reform! We need enforcement. It’s actually doing the enforcing that needs reform (via actually funding it and doing it) It’s a dirty, difficult job; but so is cleaning the toilet, spring cleaning ect. Still it has to be done or Oh my what a mess!
1) Federal and state solution to legal an illegal immigration is as follows:
a. Build the fence, wall, moat, stake a hungry dog every 10’, just make it work.
b. Get rid of sanctuary cities.
c. No Amnesty
d. Do not give citizenship to illegal aliens’ babies when they cross the border just to have said child.
e. Create an identity process whether it be a drivers license with a fingerprint or some other method that is easily transferred, updatable and it works.
f. Require the accepted identity card or method to be used for all services such as medical, education, voting, etc.
g. Require the identity card for all employment.
h. Arrest employers not honoring the card.
i. Upon contact with police whether it be jay walking or murder; no identity card you get a one way ticket home. Let their country deal with their illegal ways
j. If the fence is secure then they can not get back then old age and attrition will take care of the immigration problem in 3 generations. While this process is happening the problem will solve itself more and more every year.
For what actually needs to be done to secure the border it isn’t enough, but I doubt if they actually intend “secure” the border anyway. The Dem’s best case scenario is letting this issue fester as long as possible hoping that it paints the GOP/Tea Party as racists in time for the 2012 election. They have pretty much given up on winning 2010. They will focus on keeping key Blue seats for now.
I have no problem personally with hard working illegal aliens, and I would never dream of turning one in, but the term “illegal” is the key part of the term. If someone is stopped by a cop for drinking and driving/robbery/any other seperate illegal act; there should be no reason for a police officer not to have a right to ask for a drivers liscence/ID(especially since as a citizen I am required to keep identification on me at all times).
Active searches of illegal residents is an ineffective use of resources. There are too many “good” aliens here and it is unlawful to stop someone for how they look. Double the number of police in the border states and just get them to follow good police work standards in doing their job. IT would probably be a good idea to station national guard on the border to protect the citizens in the border towns. We don’t need anymore innicent people being killed.
Suspend the “Anchor Baby” Law though please. It was originally put in place to prevent abuse of former slaves. It hardly has any need now that the original use of the law no longer applies. It only encourages immigrants to break the law and enter the country illegally when we already have an established procedure for becoming a citizen. There is no reason to basically ask good people to become criminals.
Immergration should have been dealt with decade’s ago. It’s like trying to stop a mighty ocean. This was not done because politics was preventing DC from doing the right thing. It was politics before that has kept the government from doing what is right for our country. We have become a disgrace, and a mockery as other nations see how impotent our leaders are. Our country is now invaded by criminals of the worse kind. They are not here for citizenshio, but to do harm to our contry. We need to stop this. We are setting the bar low for immigrants. They see how easy it is to wreck havic, and brake our laws. The Mexican President had a nerve to come and lecture us for trying to enforce our laws, and the left and the WH have no respect for America. They are greedy politicians breaking the law themself.
I agree in part. The situation is out of control. But we can fix it – we are Americans. Let’s follow Arizona and start enforcing the national laws already on the books – or create better ones. This must be stopped, not only because of illegal immigrants, but also because of the drug traffickers and TERRORISTS that are creeping in!
give them live ammo
We’ve had 7 amnesties since 1986, and don’t need or want another one. Those who can’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it! Amnesties have only brought another hord across our unsecured border!
Insanity is another amnesty for 20 million illegals. Don’t forget, they’ll be able to bring family members from Mexico which could triple that number. 60 million illegals added to our health care system, social services, welfare, public housing, etc. We can’t afford Mexico’s over population, poverty, illiteracy, and crime!
We have real unemployment of 17% for Americans. Why would any sane American want illegals working when Americans can’t get a job? Demanding the use of E-VERIFY for all employers could cut unemployment in half with in months, without costing us a dime to create jobs! E-VERIFY is also an enforcement tool to stop the job magnet for illegals.
Attrition through enforcement of our immigration laws is the only answer!
Profiling and racism is a bunch of bs by fools. The problem is not crossing the border by Mexicans, it is all the illigals coming across the border and having anchor babies here. The drug cartels, terrorists and criminals and the ineptness of our own government, who care nothing about the common person. They care only about their own interests and how much they can line their own pockets.
Here is what we need to do:
1. NO AMNESTY FOR ANY ILLIGAL. Those who are here legally must carry their
papers as is noted by federal law or be fined. This is stated in Federal Law. This
MUST BE ENFORCED IN EVERY STATE BY EVERY PEACE OFFICER.
2. There is no constitutional law that says that a child born here in the United States
is an automatic citizen. There congress enact a law stating that both parents
must be a legal citizen in order for their child/children to be a citizen. The 14th
Amendment does not say anything about a child born here is an automatic citizen.
3. If the Federal Government is unable or unwilling to fulfill their obligations to protect
their citizens then each state has the right to protect their citizens by
passing Laws and enforcing them to protect their citizens.
threat of their citizens. That is called “State’s Rights.”
4. ABSOULTELY NO AMNESTY FOR ANY ILLIGAL. THE BORDER SHOULD BE
SECURED AND THOSE EMPLOYERS HIRING ILLIGALS SHOULD BE PENALIZED.
WITHE JAIL TIME. EVERY EMPLOYER SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO USE E-VERIFY.
THIS MUST BE MADE THE LAW OF THE LAND!!!
Those vendors standing on the corner must have a business license(in front of
Home Depots, on the edge of the road, etc. must have a license.
5. NO MORE SANCTUARY CITIES LIKE LOS ANGELES, SAN FRANCISCO, ETC. OR
THOSE SANCTUARY CITIES WILL RECEIVE NO FEDERAL OR STATE FUNDING.
BEFORE VOTING YOU MUST SHOW A VALID PICTURE FORM OF
IDENTIFICATION.
It is an imbaressment to watch our so called representatives to stand up and clap for
Calderon when he can’t take care of his own citizens. There are more mexican citizens
that have been killed in his drug war then in the Iraq war. I suppose if we invite the
president of N. Korea Kim the second to visit they would stand up and clap for him
for killing the 46 S Korean sailors. Ths administration does not have their priorities
straight. Poysner apologizes for the Arizona Immiration Law, Emanual and Napalatano
bad mouths that law and they hadn’t even read it.
1200 troops are nothing compared to what is needed. If 3 shifts that’s only 400. 6000 or more are needed and they must be armed.
Round up all the illegals and send them back. Revoke the citizenship of the anchor babies and bill them for welfare and hospital costs. Calderon should never have been allowed to speak as he did. Disgusting.
Close the borders. Check very vehicle no matter how long the wait time is. Issue ID cards to every legal citizen. Close immigration quotas. Identify Muslims and watch them. Illegals cost us billions.
Every state must have an Arizona law. Obama will do nothing as he wants all the illegals given citizenship just for the votes in 2012 from the ever so grateful. How immoral is that? Obama is a traitor and should not be president. He is not for America.
Amnesty would be huge insult to all those who came before.
Strict guidelines need to be enforced and given to our law enforcement to up hold the law. Checking people for immigration status is no different than checking a person for proof of insurance and ownership of a car/truck etc. Any immigrate with a green card should have no problem providing and holding this form of verification on them at all times. Any immigrant wishing to work in the United States should be forced by laws to always have there green card present and employers who hire immigrants shall be required by law to list all there employees and have a photo copy of each immigrant green card who work for them in secure files. Any employer found harboring a illegal immigrant should 1.) 1st offense stiff fines with 5 years probation 2.) 2nd offense loose there citizenship with the United States and be exiled out of the country.
# Boarder
Along the boarder between the United States and Mexico should have in place a means to scan the area for movement and weapons capable to destroying the moment with in a so called kill zone. Anything that enters that area is killed by such weapons. Boarder patrol will load and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of such weapons and equipment.
Aw shucks, Rahm…Do I actually have to pretend that I care and send troops to the border? This job sucks!
Who are the real prejudiced people in today’s America? Those that see the color of someones skin, their sexual preference or economic status and use it as a political advantage against others.
Most of these people are sitting in the highest offices of the land making laws based on their own prejudices. This is why there has been no illegal immigration laws upheld by these same people.
So OK let’s have the border secured, we can shoot the people once they cross over. Then start rounding up the illegals, maybe in buses. Of course these people are not going to cooperate so we will have to make them go with the miltary overseeing the moving of the illegals. The millions of them would be mostly mexican right? Picture it then Tell me that this is what we want to happen. We as Americans will look just like the Russians and the Nazi’s! Now think of the illegals as people like you, whom are men women and children. Is that the way we want to be treated? What that looks like to me and the world is Facists and dictators abusing the poorest people of one race! What is it called? Racial Cleansing? Imagine Peace…
We are the only country in the world that does not have a secure border. The most advanced country in the world can’t even keep terrorists from entering without us knowing about it. There is something wrong with that.
I am completely against activly searching for illegal immigrants that follow the laws that we put in place and are just here to make a living, but it is far from racist to ask for someones driver’s liscense during a well-conducted LAWFUL police investigation when someone has already commited a crime. The Arizona immigration law is broken down more than our Constitutional Immigration Law. I lost count of how many times it says that people may not be racially profiled. Please read the law. It has been gone through with a fine-toothed comb to avoid any possible way to be seen as racist.
Suggestion to GOP..how about “defending and protecting the constitution” Amendment 1 states that CITIZENS have the right to redress congress…no where does it state that non citizens have the right to influence our congress. Our congress was elected by the citizens of the United States..and they should be the first priorty when making and passing laws..I also wonder about other groups like SEIU , Social groups etc..not petitioning the government but actually protesting against the people of America because they disagree…where does this come in when you take your oath to “protect & defend” the constitution?
The real question here, is what happened to representative govt,,? Is that not what our Constitution was written for? At this point and time, neither political party is listening to their constituents other then a few radical groups. When you have a president and his party ignoring the citizens of their own country to appease foreign leaders and illegal immigrants, you have a very serious problem with representative govt., especially when they do not know where their loyalty should rest. When they ignore enforcing their own laws and Constitution, you have tyranny.
I heard the latest Democratic incumbant strategy today for the summer………….Avoid town halls, even town halls that have taken place for years. I wonder how that will work.
They can run, but they cannot hide. Their objective is not to stir the pot any longer and give media attention to the dissenters. It really is not new news as they ignored them while Congress is/was in session, so what is the difference about ignoring them throughout the summer? There absence this summer only fortifies the Tea Party movement and justifies it as well.
I’ve read some good ideas and some bad ones on this forum. A few more ideas, good or bad:
1. No one mentioned that the 1200 ‘troops’ are to be limited to clerical work.
2. The fence will only work if it is secured by armed troops; otherwise, it will soon have a considerable number of holes cut iin it.
3. We have additional resources, such as unmanned surveillance aircraft and some sophisticated sensors that can be utilized in securing our southern border.
4. We can’t overlook our northern border or our coastlines.
5. The issue is not about race; it is about people entering our country illegally. Many people of Hispanic decent had families living in the southwest before there were territories that became States. They may speak both Spanish and English, but they are 100% Americans and are as concerned as any citizen about the problems of illegal immigration, drug wars and the possibility of terrorists entering our country. (Political Correctness aside, police investigations are sometimes hampered by the misunderstanding of what racial profiling is. If the police are looking for a white male suspect for a crime in a black or hispanic neighborhood, it does no good to stop everybody in the neighborhood, and it isn’t racial profiling to stop every white male who fits the description of the suspect sought; the reverse is also true, no matter the race of those sought. No one likes to be delayed, but we should all want our streets safe, and the police need to be allowed to do their jobs in the most efficient manner.)
6. Because amnesty has been wrongly granted in the past, the lines between legal and illegal have become blurred, and some form of accommodation will have to be made. But citizenship should not be a reward for illegal entry or for simply being born on our soil to illegals.
7. If we secure the border, document needed workers, penalize those who hire illegals (including fines, confiscation of property and/or imprisonment, depending on the level of offense) and put an end to the ‘freebies’ that draw those who aren’t coming to work, we can concentrate on dealing with the more dangerous criminals (anyone who enters illegally is a criminal).
8. We can encourage legal immigration (and the last time I looked, citizenship required learning the laws and the language of this country and taking an oath of allegiance); I don’t see any reason to change the process that made this country what it is. English should be made the official legal language, and the practice of requiring ballots and other documents to be printed in other languages should stop simply for financial savings. Those who have entered illegally need to be deported and sent to the back of the line for legal immigration.
9. While Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday, I don’t particularly object to its peaceful celebration in the USA. Other ethnic holidays are observed. But I do object to students being allowed to pull down the American flag, run up a Mexican flag and then hoist the American flag upside down. Flying our flag upside down is a recognized distress signal; to see it done on an American campus in anger and disrespect greatly distresses me (and I think it is illegal).
10. We should probably take into consideration the need to negate NAFTA , the ‘North American Prosperity Sphere’ and other plans to join the USA with Canada and Mexico, then redraw borders and create regions within a ‘New World Order’ or one-world government. Free trade can be a good thing; giving up our sovereignty is not.
Take away the incentive and the influx of illegals will stop. Aggressively seek out and hold accountable those American job providers who choose to set the American labor movement back by years. They cheat the system by hiring illegals, all so that they can cut their own labor costs and make more money! Illegals, it is argued, do the jobs that most Americans won’t do. I think it is more accurate to say that these illegals are simply willing to suffer abuses that no American worker will, or should have to, tolerate! It is NOT an illegal immigration problem. It is an illegal American employer problem!
When you consolidate all of the problems we have with the illegal immigration issue, it seems to me that there is but one major problem responsible for all of these problems and that is the fact that our govt., refuses to follow and execute the existing immigration laws of the land. Until our govt., takes the responsibility for enforcing our laws, these problems will never be resolved. Judging from what I have seen thus far, our govt., does not intend to enforce our laws ! Even with the so-called bipartisan immigration bills that have come fourth, none of those bills contained a clause or statement that all of our immigration laws must be enforced. Instead, we have politicians trying to rewrite immigration laws to justify amnesty.
It became clear to me that the SPP agreement signed during the Bush presidency, indicates the willingness of our govt., to give up the sovereignty of the U.S. and to erase our borders. Neither political party has made any effort to stop or change this effort and that should tell all of us what is planned to happen here in the U.S. If we do not elect political representatives that believe in our Constitution, our Republic or our sovereignty, there will no longer be a United States of America, it is as simple as that. We will all be forced to become citizens of the North American Continent and we will be subject to foreign rule. It is not so much an issue of illegal immigration as it is a major problem with a govt., that refuses to uphold our Constitution and our laws, as written !!!
I saw that Texas is seriously considering passing an AZ type bill. How is it unethical to follow the constitution. If the Feds can’t do their job, I’m sure the states will be willing to do it for them.
The best idea would be just to redraw the border between the USA and Mexico. Just give the land that we stole from Mexico back to Mexico. That would be fair since we stole it from them. I think they would be happy with re-acquiring LA, San Diego, and most of Texas. After all Mexico is the only country that we took by force in North America. We bought The Louisiana Territory from France and Alaska from the Russians. Of course the reason we stole the land from the Mexicans because they looked more like “American Indians” from which we stole the rest of the USA from.
Legalize and tax the drugs. Make it affordable for migrant workers to pay for an annual worker visa. Enforce employment laws and shut down employers who hire undocumented workers. Use the tax revenues to pay for social services for migrants.
After reading some of the responses here; I can see that this is an emotional issue for lots of people. I don’t know a lot about our nations laws concerning immigration. But I would think that this issue is both a federal and state responsibility. The borders should be guarded, with troops and a fence not only to keep out more illegal immigrants; but also for other reasons: illegal drugs, potential criminals and terrorists, just to mention a few. I find it sort of shocking that we are fighting across this globe; but our own borders are not secure! Sorry to be disrespectful, but ‘duh!’ Then maybe each state could then decide the fate of their ‘illegals.’ How does that sound?
It is my belief that we should send more troops, police, to secure the border. Our first priority is to our own people. The law is the law. There should be no breaking it. Not even for immigrants. But Mexico is not doing its job by helping its own people. The problem lies in Mexico. If the immigrants had a reason to stay in Mexico, we would not have this immigration problem. If Mexico had Education, Health Care, Food, Jobs places to live the immigrants would not be coming here. May be our jobs lie in educating people on how to make a better Country for themselves. The UN needs to look into human rights violations and step in. There needs to be more education in that Country on how to handle the drug cartels that are making there way across our Country. Take out the drug cartels so the Mexican government can take its Country back over. Then help educate them that it is awesome to be from Mexico and have a free Country like ours. Jobs will come in helping people discover how to be free and educated. They feel better about their own Country and we have fewer immigrants and more jobs. Then the money comes back into our Country as we help theirs
We had a brassero program many years ago that worked very well for the honest mexican people that just wanted to make a living. Bring that back. Check the worker out if he is good to go issue him a work card. No social security number, no welfare. Let him work and take his money and go home after the job is done. Come back for the next season or job. Take away the feebee’s.
